It’s been exactly one whole year since we released our début album – thank you to everybody who has purchased a copy so far! It’s also extremely pleasing to know that the album has found its way into some very far away corners of this planet.
We had a fantastic album release week this time last year to celebrate the release. If you missed out on the events last year, here are some recordings / pictures:

The gig at Kings Arms a couple of weeks ago was a great one. His Master’s Voice played a killer set as expected, and since it was just them and us on the line-up, we got to play longer than usual. It was great to play our entire album, especially The Silent Cartographer which we very rarely get to play live. We were also joined on stage again by our friend and poet Mohamed Hassan from Waxed Poetic Revival who delivered some compelling spoken words during our performance of Eyelid.

Our next gig is approaching fast. It’ll be another one at Kings Arms on Saturday the 6th of September. This one will consist of some very interesting and unique sounds from the Auckland music scene such as the dark ambient doom/drone of Undiscovered Moons Of Saturn, the heavy stoner punk of Bloodnut and the avant garde séance of the legendary Girls Pissing On Girls Pissing. For more info visit the Facebook event here.
